Gracie and Ryan met on June 3rd, 2021. Gracie likes to say that Ryan gave her the run around for a few weeks due to his busy travel/consultant schedule, which Ryan vehemently denies.

Gracie met Ryan at a rooftop brewery called New Realm during golden hour, overlooking the Atlanta skyline. Ryan was impressed with Gracie’s extensive trivia knowledge and affinity for IPA’s. Gracie felt inherently natural around Ryan’s warmth and says he had the kindest eyes she had ever seen (& she maintains that to this day!).

Ryan dropped Gracie off at her apartment in Virginia Highlands that rainy night, and, as some would say – the rest was history. Ryan asked Gracie to hang out the next day, and the next day, and the next. The two quickly became inseparable.

In August of 2021, about 3 months after the two had met, Gracie tested positive for Covid and had to quarantine. Seven days passed. It was the longest they had gone without seeing each other since their first date. People say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, and this must have been the case for Ryan. It was a Sunday morning when Gracie finally tested negative for Covid. Ryan came to Gracie’s place as soon as he heard. This was the first time Ryan told Gracie he loved her. Gracie was a little more apprehensive given the short amount of time they had been dating. She really wanted to think about it and make sure she meant it before saying it back. After a very long 24 hours of deliberation she told Ryan she loved him too.

Their love has been expanding ever since.
